Mountain Pacific subcontracts with <a href=\"https:\/\/comagine.org\/program\/partnership-to-advance-tribal-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comagine Health<\/a>, who partners with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/\">Indian Health Service<\/a>\u00a0(IHS) and their hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>PATH supports IHS hospitals by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>developing leaders through training and networking;<\/li>\n<li>building strong hospital systems through team-based care and clinical quality improvement;<\/li>\n<li>strengthening patient, family and tribal engagement;<\/li>\n<li>promoting and spreading best practices in hospitals;<\/li>\n<li>ensuring that clinical, operational and safety standards are met or exceeded;<\/li>\n<li>assisting with the development of hospital improvement plans;<\/li>\n<li>establishing baseline data to ensure plans for improvement are successful and sustainable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A very important aspect of PATH assures inclusion of American Indian and Alaska Native culture, tradition and personal wishes.
