MU: It is not too late to get incentive money in the Medicaid EHR Program<\/h1>\n

The last year that an eligible professional can begin participation is 2016. \u00a0Medicaid Expansion has increased the number of Medicaid enrolled patients which in some circumstances could make more providers eligible for the Medicaid EHR incentive payments. \u00a0The incentive program ends in 2021.<\/p>\n

The Medicaid EHR Incentive Payments can total up to $63,750 over 6 years. \u00a0To earn the maximum incentive, a provider will need to meet and attest to meaningful use consistently for the next 6 years.<\/p>\n

Medicaid will allow providers to skip a year, but there are only 6 years left to the Medicaid Incentive program.\u00a0\u00a0Click\u00a0Medicaid and Medicare EHR Incentive Program Basics<\/a>, and scroll to the bottom of the page for information on the Medicaid EHR Program.<\/p>\n
