We have recently posted some great new ASP resources to our MT Antimicrobial Stewardship <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpqhf.org\/corporate\/health-and-technology-services\/resources\/abs-collaborative-resources\/\">(ABS) Collaborative Resources page<\/a>, and I wanted to make sure you were aware of them. The new resources include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jumpstart Stewardship Webinar 3 \u2013 Measuring Effectiveness: Data Sources and Key Metrics \u2013 Check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpqhf.org\/corporate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/2017-06-13-MT-ABS-Collaborative-Jumpstart-Stewardship-3-Measuring-Effectiveness.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">slide deck<\/a>, which has great examples of data points to use for your ASP and individual ASP interventions.<\/li>\n<li>Jumpstart Stewardship Webinar 4 \u2013 Mitigating Barriers and ASP Implementation Planning \u2013 Check out the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpqhf.org\/corporate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/2017-07-18-Jumpstart-Stewardship-4-slides.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"> slide deck<\/a>, which will walk you through mitigating barriers and creating a plan and timeline for a successful ASP.<\/li>\n<li>From Jumpstart Stewardship Webinars 3 and 4 \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpqhf.org\/corporate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Jumpstart-Workbook-pk-examples.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\">Jumpstart Stewardship examples of key metrics, SWOT analysis and intervention timelines<\/a> and an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpqhf.org\/corporate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/ASP-Implementation-Timeline-Template-Example.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\">ASP implementation planning timeline example<\/a> (MS Excel). These examples help you complete your homework assignments from these two webinars.<\/li>\n<li>New CDC Resource \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/getsmart\/healthcare\/pdfs\/core-elements-small-critical.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Implementation Guide of Antibiotic Stewardship Core Elements in Small\/Critical Access Hospitals<\/a> gives concrete examples of implementation ideas for each core element.<\/li>\n<li>St. Luke in Ronan, Montana, has generously shared a copy of their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpqhf.org\/corporate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Antibiotic-Stewardship-Program-Policy-St.-Luke.docx\" target=\"_blank\">ASP Policy<\/a>.
