\u00a0Task checklist for 2016 reporting year<\/h1>\n<h5>February 25, 2016<\/h5>\n<h6>Written by Patty Kosednar<\/h6>\n<p>For the 2016 MU, here is a checklist of the tasks you might use to help get you through the 2016 reporting year.\u00a0 Please let me know if you have comments or questions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create CMS MU audit folder<\/li>\n<li>Determine if providers practice in more than one location<\/li>\n<li>Determine CMS EHR program eligibility<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and document Medicaid Eligibility<\/li>\n<li>Confirm EHR version is 2014 (at least)<\/li>\n<li>Review new 2016 MU Objective Details<\/li>\n<li>Verify EHR configurations and functionality<\/li>\n<li>Take screenshots of EHR configurations (for all locations)<\/li>\n<li>Choose CQMs (align with other quality programs if possible)<\/li>\n<li>Run year to date MU and CQM reports\/determine MU gap (for all locations)<\/li>\n<li>Review\/verify your EHR Workflows and provide training if needed<\/li>\n<li>\u201cActively Engage\u201d\u00a0 or confirm ongoing submission for the Public Health measures or determine exclusion<\/li>\n<li>Perform or Update Security Risk Assessment<\/li>\n<li>Continue to monitor MU performance and adjust workflows throughout reporting period<\/li>\n<li>Have at least one patient (per provider or EH) seen during reporting period view, download or transfer health information<\/li>\n<li>Have all providers send or respond to an eSecure message via CEHRT to at least one patient seen during reporting period (EP only)<\/li>\n<li>Verify EP\/EH registration info in PECOS, NLR and SLR if Medicaid<\/li>\n<li>Verify all SLR\/NLR logins and passwords<\/li>\n<li>Meet MU objectives and CQM requirements<\/li>\n<li>Attest via NLR and or SLR<\/li>\n<li>Finalize CMS MU
