But type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed with healthy changes to your lifestyle. The first step is learning your risk. <\/p>\n<p>Mountain-Pacific Quality Health is participating in <strong>American Diabetes Association Alert Day\u00ae<\/strong>. On <strong>March 27<\/strong>, we encourage you to take a simple and anonymous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.diabetes.org\/alertday\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">one-minute test<\/a> to find out whether you are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. To learn your diabetes risk in 60 seconds, you will answer questions such as, \u201cDo you have a family history of diabetes?\u201d and \u201cAre you physically active?\u201d It is that simple. <\/p>\n<p>Once you have taken the test, feel free to share it with friends and family. With 84 million Americans at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, someone you love could be at risk.  <\/p>\n<p>If you take the test and find out you are at risk for type 2 diabetes, <strong>talk to your doctor<\/strong>. Only your doctor can tell you for sure whether you have diabetes.
