ASP in the ED Webinar Materials

We hope you were able to join us for our antibiotic stewardship in the emergency department webinar, which provided information on how to meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Core Elements of Antibiotic Stewardship in the outpatient Setting. The webinar was held Aug. 23, 2018 and featured Mountain-Pacific’s Chief Medical Officer Doug Kuntzweiler, MD, recently retired after 27 years as a emergency department physician. Dr. Kuntzweiler described the importance of appropriate antibiotic prescribing and how his former hospital implemented the CDC’s hospital and outpatient core elements as part of their antibiotic stewardship program.
