Webinar: New Antibiotic Usage DOT Tracking Tool
June 7, 2018
The Montana ABS Collaborative has created a data tracking spreadsheet to help you track a variety of elements for your antibiotic stewardship program, including the antibiotic usage measure – Days of Therapy (DOT).
- Antibiotic Stewardship Program- Days of Therapy (DOT) tracking tool
- Video of live demo on how to use this tool effectively
This Excel spreadsheet contains all the pivot tables and formulas needed to generate the charts and graphs your facility can use to support and enhance your antibiotic stewardship program.
If you would like some additional help with effectively using this tracking tool, we will be hosting a webinar on July 19th to provide more instructions and a live demonstration. We will be sending another blog post with registration information for this webinar in the following days.
Also, we are working on an outpatient-based tool, which we hope to launch soon.
Thank you to Kitty Strowbridge and Brooke Pieper for helping Jamie Schultz modify this great tool, which is based on the original created by the Rochester Patient Safety C. Difficile Prevention Collaborative, from the University of Rochester, Rochester Nursing Home Collaborative.
