Title: Outpatient Antibiotic Stewardship Tracking and Reporting Tool
Date: June 27, 2019
2:00 – 3:00 PM MDT | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM AKDT | 10:00 – 11:00 AM HST

Objectives:

1. Review the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) four Core Elements for Outpatient Antibiotic Stewardship
2. Understand why antibiotic stewardship is important in the outpatient setting
3. Learn how one small clinic used a simple tracking and reporting tool to monitor its antibiotic prescribing and how it was shared with prescribers for improving outcomes
4. Discuss how to use the antibiotic usage data to improve your antibiotic stewardship efforts

Intended Audience: Pharmacists, nursing administration, risk management, quality counsel, prescribers, infection preventionists and anyone interested in antimicrobial resistance
