2015 Feedback Reports and Annual 2015 QRUR Reports Released

September 28, 2016
Written by Sarah Leake

CMS released the 2015 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) Feedback Reports and 2015 Annual Quality and Resource Use Reports (QRURs) on September 26, 2016.

The 2015 PQRS Feedback report contains all detailed information needed to determine your performance year 2015 PQRS reporting results and indicates if you are subject to the 2017 PQRS negative payment adjustment.

The 2015 Annual QRUR illustrates how a physician group or solo physician performed in 2015 on the quality and cost measures relative to national benchmarks and are used to calculate the 2017 Value Modifier of either upward, neutral or downward adjustments. The QRURs also contain important information about care delivered to Medicare beneficiaries including information about hospitalizations and other providers that can be used to improve quality and better coordinate care.

You are encouraged to review your 2015 PQRS Feedback Report and 2015 Annual QRUR, now, to determine your adjustments from the 2017 PQRS and the 2017 Value Modifier payment programs. (Remember, adjustments are to Medicare Part B FFS payments.)

These reports can be accessed through the Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) account with the appropriate roles to obtain 2015 PQRS Feedback Reports and 2015 Annual QRURs. Please reference the PQRS Blog post “Do you need an EIDM account?” for information on how to sign up for an EIDM account if you do not have access yet.

Upon review of your PQRS Feedback Report if you believe you were assessed the 2017 PQRS negative payment adjustment in error, you can submit an Informal Review. Go to “2015 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS): 2017 Negative Payment Adjustment – Informal Review Made Simple” guide on the PQRS Analysis and Payment webpage.

You may also request an informal review for the Value Modifier if you believe you were assessed incorrectly. How to request an informal review is available on the 2015 QRUR and 2017 Value Modifier webpage.

The time period to request an informal review of your 2015 PQRS results and/or 2017 Value Modifier calculation is September 26, 2016 through November 30, 2016 11:59 pm Eastern Time.

NEWS: Mountain-Pacific QIO will be hosting a webinar on October 25, 2016: PQRS QRUR: The Value Modifier Report Card to learn more about interpreting your QRUR reports. Please join.
